Rules

These were the rules for the 2008 Bearduary event. Chances are that they would be very similar next year (apart from the 29th February bit). This year we're taking a break, see you in 2010.

  1. Gentlemen only.

  2. Beard growing will commence on Monday, 1 January, 2008.

  3. How you choose to sculpt your beard is your decision entirely - Mutton Chops, the Donegal, a van Dyke? - you decide. A prize will be given to the beard judged the most creative.

  4. A shaving ceremony will take place on Friday, 29 February, 2008 at a venue to be determined. We ask that you maintain your beard at least until then.

  5. Please keep a photographic record of your progress. We ask that you take your photographs on Mondays and forward them to where we will upload them to the participants gallery.

  6. Enjoy.
